BENEFITS OF TELETHERAPY

Convenient, safe & affordable

Benefits of teletherapy

Teletherapy has become popular over the past year due to COVID-19, but Stephanie was starting to think about moving her therapy practice online long before the pandemic hit. Why? Because of the many benefits of online sessions. Find out for yourself why online therapy is so helpful.

Therapy Where You Need It

Talk through your feelings where it's convenient and comfortable. Maybe that means from your couch in your living room snuggled up with your favorite blanket. Or maybe you would rather sign on for a sesson from your car while you take a break from work.

SAVE TIME

By the time you leave work, drive to an appointment, wait in the office and have your session, you’re more stressed than when you started. Skip the drive and wait time with teletherapy.

TALK IN COMFORT

Your session will be more effective if you are comfortable. Find your favorite couch, kick back and release. You can even stay in your jammies.

MORE PRIVACY

Sometimes simply walking into a crowded waiting room can make you nervous or anxious. Online sessions are HIPAA-protected, and there are no chances of running into coworkers or family friends in the lobby!

COVID SAFE

We can have a heart-to-heart and won’t need to worry about wearing masks. Teletherapy is a safe way of continuing your therapy sessions without the risk of COVID-19 exposure.

What’s in a name?

The name SEA Therapy has two meanings. Most importantly, it was chosen because of the initials: Stephanie, Emily and Andrew. Family is the most important thing in Stephanie’s life, and she wanted to be sure the name of her business reflected that.

Many people also find the sea tranquil and calming, so the name works on a second level. Stephanie’s goal is that through teletherapy sessions, her clients will find a path to calmer waters and inner peace.

SEA Mission

I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people. I strive to help my clients find a sense of hope for the future, peace within themselves and the knowledge that they can do all things.

Jennifer

I am grateful for my counseling experience with Stephanie, who was able to create a safe and loving environment, that allowed me to easily share my struggles and personal issues. Through counseling sessions, Stephanie was able to help me identify, destructive co-dependent thought patterns, which were not allowing me to heal or move forward. Identifying the problem allowed Stephanie to educate me and provide me with the necessary tools to grow and break my destructive cycle. I am now able to identify the negative thoughts, replace them with positive thoughts and feel confident in my ability to make decisions that are best for ME. Thank, you Stephanie!

Leigh

Stephanie has been a light for me in a dark season. In trying to overcome my issues with eating I was struggling with addictive patterns that I was having difficulty realizing on my own. Stephanie has provided a confidential space to share my story, recognize my addiction and provided strategies to help me through this journey of healing. I appreciate her ability to listen with a nonjudgemental tone. I feel like I have grown in understanding my disorder and how I got here. Stephanie has helped me see hope in my future.
